This role is focused on providing strategic and operational support in Labour Relations, while also contributing to broader HR initiatives that drive a high-performance culture.If you thrive in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment and are passionate about innovative HR practices and unionized environments, this is your opportunity to make an impact while growing your career in a supportive and development-focused team.What Youll Be DoingLabour Relations LeadershipProvide day-to-day interpretation and administration of 14 collective agreementsManage seniority processes, grievance handling, and discipline administrationConduct thorough workplace investigations and advise on progressive disciplineSupport collective bargaining preparation and execution, including gathering and analyzing data to support bargaining positions, drafting proposals and counter-proposals, as well as participating in negotiations and maintaining detailed recordsBuild and maintain constructive relationships with union representativesSupport arbitration and mediation processes, including documentation and case preparationMonitor and assess labour trends and legislative changes to inform strategyBuild strong relationships and credibility with front-line managementManage headcount and position trackingProvide data analysis and reporting to support strategic HR planningStay current on internal business knowledge and HR trendsWhat You BringPassion for the Canadian Sports & Media industryStrong knowledge of Federal HR legislationFamiliarity with Labour Relations legislation, collective agreements, and unionized environmentsExperience supporting bargaining processesAbility to influence without authority and build trust with leaders and teamsProven experience resolving complex employee relations issuesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesAdvanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data manipulationHigh level of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgmentResults-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesWhats in it for you?We believe in investing in our people and helping them reach their potential as valuable members of our team.
