Your Area of Focus Are you looking to lead national recruiting strategies within a large, complex automotive organization? This is your opportunity to own and evolve the full recruitment function across Canada which operates in the English language. As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will drive innovative sourcing strategies, lead a national team, and ensure that our hiring practices support the operational needs of our dealerships, including automotive retail, fixed operations, collision centres, and corporate functions. This role is a fulltime permanent position based in Edmonton and is ideal for a strategic, motivated leader with experience in highvolume recruiting, multibrand operations, and automotive industry talent acquisition. Your leadership will ensure consistent, compliant, and effective recruitment delivery across all regions. What Drives Your DaytoDay? Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Talent Partners and Recruiters across multiple Canadian provinces and timezones. Oversee daytoday recruitment operations, ensuring alignment with hiring timelines, business priorities, and workforce planning needs. Design and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies for technical roles, collision centre talent, sales, service, administrative, and seniorlevel positions across multiple brands and dealership groups. Manage the fullcycle recruitment process, from requisition intake to offer acceptanceensuring a seamless, candidatefocused experience. Build and maintain strong pipelines using job boards, social platforms, proactive sourcing, and industry networking. Strengthen relationships with educational institutions, community partners, and recruitment vendors to widen talent reach across Canada. Monitor and report on recruitment metrics, including timetofill, source effectiveness, and qualityofhire; provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Develop all recruitment practices and ensure compliance with provincial, federal, and international employment standards, including LMIA requirements when applicable. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to modernize recruitment processes, tools, and systems companywide. Champion a culture of accountability, performance, and highquality hiring within the recruitment team. What Are the MustHaves Minimum of 5 years of experience in high volume recruitment or talent acquisition, including national or multiregion recruiting. Minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience for the automotive industry is mandatory (automotive retail, fixed operations, or collision). Completion of the RPR (Registered Professional Recruiter) designation is required. Proven experience recruiting across multibrand dealership groups or comparable multibrand environments. Experience leading and developing a team of multiprovince recruiters in a highvolume, fastpaced setting is required. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment data and generate actionable insights. High attention to detail with a commitment to process excellence and compliance. Proficiency with ATS, HRIS, and recruitment technologies. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with crossfunctional teams. A proactive, resultsdriven attitude with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
