Claims are moderate to severe in nature and the successful candidate will have a dynamic personality and the ability to excel in a high performance environment while ensuring claims are properly investigated, evaluated, and resolved in a timely manner.Investigate, evaluate, negotiate claims of varying complexityMaintain control of expenses through pro-active handling techniquesConduct technical audits to monitor quality, activity, reserving and expensesHandle and settle claims within prescribed authorityRemain up-to-date on industry trends and case lawMaintains strong proactive communication with all stakeholdersIdentify and investigate subrogation opportunitiesPerform other tasks and duties as assigned by the ManagerWho You Are3-5 years of progressive casualty management claims experienceKnowledge of multiple US jurisdictions and strong dispute resolution skillsKnowledge of principles and practices in claims settlement, policy wording, fraud investigations and coverage issuesExceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to prioritize and produce quality work with attention to detail and accuracyCIP designation or working towards completion is preferredPost-secondary education completed in a related fieldPlease note: Internal applicants are asked to formally express their interest by applying online no later than 10 business days of position being posted.#LI-Hybrid #LI-AF1Our CommitmentWe are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to provide employment accommodation in accordance with all applicable Provincial Human Rights and Accessibility Legislation.
