We pride ourselves on promoting talent when we see it, and work with each professional to define what success means for them.Your role:Lead and execute audit, review and compilation engagements, including financial statements and tax filings, ensuring deadlines are metPrepare personal and corporate income tax returns, T1s, T3s, T4s, T5s, GST, and other compliance documentsProvide advisory support to clients, offering insights into financial planning and decision-makingRespond to client inquiries professionally and promptlyBuild and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business developmentManage project timelines, budgets, billing, and work-in-progressCollaborate with team members to improve internal processes and service deliveryMentor and support junior accounting staffEngage in ongoing professional development to maintain CPA designation and role expertiseDeliver attentive, personalized service to foster productive client relationshipsWhat you bring to the table:Strong desire and dedication to work and learn in a dynamic work environmentExcellent communication and analytical skillsProficiency with MS Word and ExcelCPA designation or actively pursuing it3+ years of public practice experience with significant audit and assurance exposureExperience with non-profit and private entitiesStrong knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO and Canadian tax compliance (T1, T2, GST, T4, T5)Proficient in accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, TaxCycle, QuickBooks, Sage)Solid understanding of accounting and tax fundamentalsStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesDetail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyComfortable using Microsoft 365 and other relevant applicationsWhats in it for you?Rewarding opportunities at every stage of your careerChallenging and varied assignmentsCompetitive compensation, incentives, and rewardsProfessional networking and mentoring programsA leadership team committed to your success.To engage with leading experts and colleagues across Canada and the worldThe opportunity to influence tomorrow for clients, community and the profession.Job type:Term, Full-timeMonday to FridayWorking conditions:The Senior Accountant will be required to work in an office environment, with the option of some remote flexibility. They will be required to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer for extended periods of time.
