Through Human Resources expertise and best practices, we enable our staff to flourish, so together we can achieve the mission of Power to Change (P2C). Our team is part of the People + Culture department and supports the 9 ministries and departments of P2C in providing guidance, resources, programs, and services.About the RoleThe HR Systems Administrator provides customer service to our staff and administrative support to the HR team. This position processes and responds to staff inquiries on HR-related forms and procedures. As a key member of the HR team, this role involves following up, collecting, and data entry of staff information changes into the HR systems.ResponsibilitiesThis role will be held accountable to achieving the following objectives:Process and ensure there is accurate staff information and maintain database integrity:Manage new staff set up in HR databaseSupport new staff set up with the Information Technology and Corporate Services departmentsPrepare and send out employment and volunteer agreementsReview and process all incoming staff paperwork/formsProduce reports from HR database as requiredEnsure all staff forms and employment agreements are filed electronicallyProvide HR administrative support in the following areas:Payroll & BenefitsOther:Attend Chapels weekly and HR prayer meetings and Bible studiesHR office environment is organized and tidyOther duties as assignedAbout YouYou must be legally entitled to work in CanadaYou have 2 to 4 years experience in an administrative role with strong organizational skillsYou excel at working autonomously while effectively managing various tasks with consistent quality.You possess and have demonstrated proficiency in handling data.You are flexible and able to manage urgent requestsYou have solid written and oral communication skillsYou have well developed problem-solving skillsYou are proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)You are familiar with Google products (Google hangouts, Google docs, etc.)You have experience with the Dayforce database system or similar (considered an asset)What We Offer Our StaffEmployer-paid extended health and dental benefitsGroup RRSP contribution options with up to 3.5% matching after 1 year of employmentAccess to our Employment Assistant Program (EAP)Extra week of vacation between Christmas and New YearWeekly Chapel servicesSemi-annual Day of Prayer participationDiscounts at our Resource CentreWe thank all applicants for their interest in Power to Change; however, only candidates who closely match the requirements will be contacted directly.
