Qualifications What You Bring We welcome applicants who possess the following skills and qualifications to apply: Education and Experience Required: Minimum high school diploma Technical training in automotive/heavy equipment mechanics is preferred Experience working with or around mechanized forestry equipment is considered an asset Mechanical aptitude is required Class 5 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract is required Ability to work day and night shifts with some on-call availability is required Ability to work some weekends required Willingness to travel throughout the day to multiple job sites is required Familiarity with road construction activities Experience operating a log truck or Class 1 License is considered an asset Background or exposure to forestry or transportation Responsibilities What Youll Do Coordinate equipment movement, including arranging towing. Perform inspections and assessments alongside our mechanic. Schedule and dispatch grader for road maintenance. Oversee regular maintenance of forestry equipment and trucks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
