Tenured or TenureTrack Faculty Position in Accounting The Department of Accounting and Business Analytics at the University of Alberta invites applications for two fulltime tenured or tenuretrack positions in Accounting. The anticipated start date is July1,2026. This role is inperson and primarily located at North Campus, Edmonton. Responsibilities Teach accounting courses in undergraduate and graduate programs. Conduct and publish research in toptier accounting journals. Service to the Schools academic activities. Play an active role in the success and development of the PhD program. Qualifications Have, or be close to completing, a PhD in an accounting field. Demonstrated potential to publish toplevel research and achieve teaching excellence. Excellent record or strong potential for publication in top (FT) accounting journals. Empirical capability to conduct archival or behavioral research. Evidence of teaching excellence. Proven track record or interest in institution building and service, in addition to exceptional scholarship in accounting. Proficiency in English is required. CPA certificate or general managerial experience will be considered an asset. Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have demonstrated the impact of their research, shown established teaching skills, and have a record of service at departmental, institutional, national, and/or international levels.
