Overview Join to apply for the Project Technologist role at Pinchin in Canada. Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Consulting Team in our Regina office. The Project Technologist reports directly to the Project Manager and will play a pivotal role in carefully assessing and monitoring various workplaces and building structures throughout Saskatchewan. Responsibilities Complete assessments for hazardous materials, indoor air quality (IAQ), designated substances and workplace exposures Conduct interviews with clients regarding building history and site-specific client concerns Perform inspections and evaluate building systems and materials Assess building damages related to floods, water losses, smoke and fire Use various types of equipment to record measurements and collect samples Identify and sample suspect asbestos, lead, and PCB-containing materials Interpret laboratory results Prepare detailed reports documenting findings and providing recommendations to address concerns Inspect abatement and restoration contractors undertaking mould, asbestos and other hazardous materials remediation work to document that the work has been properly completed Collect and analyze Phase Contract Microscope (PCM) asbestos air samples Maintain and enhance quality control within the group Develop and maintain positive client relationships What You Bring To The Pinchin Team Consulting industry experience is considered an asset Experience with building construction or maintenance is an asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Exceptional oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills High attention to detail Valid drivers license, insurance and a personal vehicle required Availability to travel to clients sites throughout Saskatchewan Availability to work outside of core business hours (occasional evening and weekends) Whats In It For You Pinchin offers competitive salaries and benefits, along with mentoring and career development programs, opportunities for community involvement including many environmental initiatives, a flexible workplace to support work-life balance, paid personal days, three weeks paid vacation to start, reimbursement for association membership dues, wellness spending account, social activities, team building events, corporate hotel rates and more in an inclusive, dynamic work environment.
