Project Coordinator Co-op (Civil) Kiewit Nuclear Canada Summer 2026 (12 months) Requisition ID: 178899 Job Level: Internship Home District/Group: Eastern Canada District Department: Field Operations Market: Nuclear Employment Type: Full Time Temporary Position Overview The Project Coordinator Co-op will report to the Project Director and will be responsible for planning all critical material movements. This role will require continuous communication with all project team members and will be responsible for identifying and implementing continuous improvements of material handling methods. District Overview Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is a full-service engineering, project management and construction provider operating across North America. Our experience spans all aspects of the nuclear market from carbon-free, small modular reactors to Department of Energy science, environmental and nuclear security mission capabilities. Location This project is located on the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP1) site in Bowmanville, in the Regional Municipality of Durham. Responsibilities Assist in coordination and tracking of Request for Information (RFI), Shop Drawings, and Submittals. Assist in preparation and tracking of Work Method Statement (WMS), Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP). Assist in updating schedule, preparing daily site reports. Liaison with other internal groups, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers supporting the project. Participate in meetings and prepare meeting minutes. Coordinate preparation and distribution of design documents, as-built drawings, closeout documents, etc. Qualifications Pursuing a Civil Engineering Degree is preferred Minimum GPA of 3.0 Proficient written (report writing) communication skills Knowledge of SharePoint applications an asset Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team Thrive on a fastpaced environment Valid G license and accessible to a car Need to work in person at site office/trailer.
