We are currently looking to build a new multidisciplinary team in our Calgary office. Enterprise computing is composed of multiple teams in charge of application service infrastructure, data & analytics and compute, cloud and storage. Read onWhat you will bring to the roleAll of our potential candidates should have, at minimum, one of the following profilesStrong software engineering credentials in C#, Java or Python (we have projects running in those 3 languages)Data engineering in Greenplum, Postgres and or DatabricksInfrastructure engineering, including but not limited to platform automation, virtual tooling, Terraform infrastructure as code and cloud platform engineeringThings to highlight on your resumeWhile these are not required, we are very interested in speaking with people who have exposure to the following items. Do not hesitate to highlight them on your resume!C# .NET development experience up with knowledge of latest .NET frameworksKnowledge of Powershell or GolangExpert knowledge of Linux, including familiarity with UNIX system callsExperience in configuring and deploying private IaaS/PaaS/Container technologiesExperience working in AWS, Azure or GCPUnderstanding of Azure or AWS infrastructure (e.g. IAM, VNets/VPC, Storage, Networks, Compute, Key management, monitoring)Handson experience with cloud networking, identity and access management, key vaults, monitoring, and logging in AzureExperience in Kubernetes and Containerbased technologiesFamiliarity with Helm, Kustomize, OPA, FluxCD etcExperience with Terraform for building and managing infrastructureHands on experience with Databricks (Workspace management, Clusters, Jobs, MLFlow, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Mosaic AI)Experience with Databricks REST APIs and SDKsExperience of large (10k+ lines) collaboratively developed modular projectsExperience with Postgres V12+ , Greenplum version 6+Hands on exposure in Installing and Configuring HADR/Replication Clusters in Postgres for High AvailabilityKnowledge of SQL and database programmingMorgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
