This opportunity could be for you!We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Project Engineering team and work in a multi-disciplinary role supporting Project NextGen based in Saint John, New Brunswick.ResponsibilitiesAs a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing multi-disciplined capital projects. From project concept development to project start-up, you will lead a team through all phases including scope definition, funding applications, detailed engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities. You will ensure projects are executed safely, in compliance with environmental regulations, within budget and schedule, and meet all technical, performance, and quality objectives.QualificationsMechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering DegreePrior experience in pulp & paper or other heavy industrial projects is an asset New Graduates will be consideredAbility to successfully execute within a team environmentAbility to lead cross-functional project teams involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed cost-effectively, on time, reliably, and safelyExceptional verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrates ownership, initiative, attention to detail, and a drive to do things right the first timeAbove-average planning and organizational skillsProficient with Microsoft OfficeAbout UsFounded in 1882, J.D.
