Opportunity We are looking for an Intermediate or Senior Civil Engineer with a focus on Municipal Engineering to serve as Engineer of Record and Project Manager within our Municipal Division in Victoria, BC. Your responsibilities will include leading detailed designs, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements, and managing multidisciplinary teams. Our Victoria branch offers service across municipal, land development, structural engineering, land surveying and environmental consulting for projects locally and across Vancouver Island. What Youll Do Lead detailed designs and produce engineering drawings and specifications specific to Municipal Engineering, meeting all client and approval agency requirements. Coordinate, produce and seal detailed design drawings, calculations, reports, construction cost estimates, tender documents and contracts. Chair regular project meetings with clients and internal staff. Develop new business and establish strategic relationships with key clients, agencies and partners. Coordinate with other team members and monitor project progress to ensure schedules, budgets and quality control standards are achieved. Provide leadership in safety and quality management practices. Prepare and submit superior proposals. Generate invoices for clients and track against agreed client budgets. Manage multidisciplinary teams, providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff. What Youll Bring A degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university with strong technical skills and 515 years of related experience. Registration in good standing as a P.Eng in BC or ability to obtain registration through existing inter-jurisdictional agreements. Knowledge of MMCD and Construction Administration experience is an asset. Proven ability to attract and retain clients, win projects and consistently provide high quality deliverables on time and on budget. Demonstrated business development skills. An aptitude for leadership, continuous learning, knowledge sharing and relationship building. What Can We Offer You?
