About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Algorithm Developer to join our Vancouver-based algorithm team. This is a handson role, developing and optimizing highperformance algorithms in C and C++, driving shortterm code refactoring and longterm feature development. While experience with image processing and machine learning is a nicetohave, the core of this role is deep expertise in C/C++ and algorithm development. This is an inoffice position, requiring presence at our Gastown office 5 days a week. What Youll Do Design and optimize software structures for algorithmintensive applications using C/C++. Develop, refactor, and optimize algorithms for performance and reliability. Assign and review technical tasks to ensure quality and maintainability. Troubleshoot complex technical issues Support the sales team with technical expertise and product enhancements. Who Youll Be An intermediate developer with 5+ years of experience in C/C++ development. Detailoriented, with a strong focus on performance, optimization, and clean code. Professional and collaborative, thriving in a highperformance technical environment. Have nativelevel English proficiency. What Youll Bring MustHave Technical Skills Excellent: C/C++ programming, data structures, algorithm design, computer fundamentals. Strong: Objectoriented design, software architecture. Preferred (NicetoHave) Skills Familiarity with image processing algorithms. Knowledge of machine learning or deep learning fundamentals. Education & Experience Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field. Opensource contributions are a plus. Prior experience working as a developer in a SaaS company is required. Soft Skills Ability to summarize, abstract, and present technical information clearly. Strong problemsolving skills for complex algorithmic challenges. Team coordination and mentoring capabilities.
