About the role Our Canadian operations seek an enthusiastic, organized selfstarter to join the Wealth & Estate Planning team in Calgary. This role supports the team and offers an opportunity for a longterm career in financial and retirement planning within a fastpaced, growing division. Responsibilities Prepare comprehensive financial plans using Conquest financial planning software, personalizing each plan for highnetworth clients, covering retirement, cash flow, estate, tax considerations for holding companies, trusts, employee stock options, pension plans, charitable giving, and more. Present completed plans to advisors and clients in person or virtually. Develop and maintain relationships with CGWM advisors, serving as a subjectmatter expert in financial planning. Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships with CGWM, such as insurance referrals, externally held assets, or other financial needs. Work alongside the Wealth and Estate Planning Team and CGWM advisors to provide an exceptional client experience. Collaborate with the Estate Planning Advisor to maximize insurance opportunities. Maintain a high level of partnership and knowledge regarding all of CGWMs units. Generate ideas and participate in projects that enhance client service and strengthen relationships with CGWM. Simplify complex strategies for advisors to aid in growing CGWMs wealth management business. Increase advisor use and proficiency of Conquest through increased visibility and training. Skills and Qualifications Financial planning designation (CFP preferred). CPA with an accounting background considered an asset. LLQP license required. Extensive experience with planning software; Conquest preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience in all aspects of financial planning; complex financial planning experience essential. Strong presentation skills. Highly engaged and passionate about educating clients and advisors. Ability to work both as part of a team and independently to complete tasks. Effective communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills. Other tax planning designations considered an asset. All applications will be held in strict confidence.
