Responsibilities In support of this mission, the Supervisor, Engagement Centre role works with the Associate Director of Annual and Leadership Giving Engagement in the coordination and management of the York University Engagement Centre activities, including recruitment, hiring, scheduling, performance management and management of the daytoday operation of a fully automated Engagement Centre. The Supervisor is also responsible for the daily maintenance and operation of the automated dialling system, which is used to contact over 100,000 York University alumni, parents and friends on a yearly basis. The objective of the Engagement Centre is to deliver pertinent information to alumni, parents and friends, update demographic information, and acquire financial support for York University. Education Postsecondary diploma. Experience 3 years of related experience. 2 years of experience managing telemarketing programs and/or Engagement Centre operations. 1 year of management or supervisory experience within an Engagement Centre or highvolume customer service environment. Experience working within Engagement Centres, preferably fundraisingbased, and familiarity with telephone solicitation programs.
