Opportunity U.S. Business Immigration Senior Law Clerks manage multiple challenging engagements, from PERM, NIV, and IV processes, to green card and nonimmigrant visas, offering tailored advisory services. Youll bring innovative solutions and ideas to institutional clients. Key Responsibilities Utilize your legal and procedural understanding of U.S. business immigration, applying this knowledge to client situations. Research current processing requirements at service centers and consulates on instruction from the lawyer. Manage the lifecycle of applications: document collection, drafting, reviewing, editing, and submission of packages. Collect information and documentation from HR contacts and applicants. Draft complete application packages for review by the supervising lawyer. Ensure timely filing of all applications. Meet with lawyers to discuss clientraised questions and relay information. Draft client emails and update applicants on progress. Delegate suitable tasks to support staff, such as form completion and mailing of packages. Follow up with immigration authorities on pending applications. Enter data for billing and client information into the applicant tracking system. Advise lawyers on clientrelated issues. Collaborate on training sessions covering firm processes, best practices, and U.S. immigration regulations. Attend relevant seminars and professional development courses. Qualifications An undergraduate university degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience. At least 2 years of U.S. business immigration experience. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Ideally, youll also have A proven ability to work independently within a fastpaced, teamoriented environment. A knack for multitasking and managing diverse projects effectively. A strong sense of professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.
