Operations Manager - Kitimat, BC Clean Harbors is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team in the Kitimat region. In this role you will lead a safe, ethical and profitable operation with full P&L responsibility for the local branch and a highly trained team that handles both environmental and industrial cleaning operations. Responsible for H&S issues surrounding projects assigned, including reviewing operational procedures to assure correctness. Oversee waste management activities at customer or group of customer locations. Manage and coordinate the efforts and Health and Safety oversight of the Clean Harbors onsite employees for customers air, water, and/or hazardous waste programs. Ensure utilization of all equipment and manpower is maximized. Develop, monitor and measure against operational and financial KPIs. Meet with customers as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any pending complaints or issues. Establish processes to measure performance of all personnel to continuously improve performance levels. Ensure infrastructure and employees are equipped to conduct business efficiently and perform well in their jobs. Guide the professional development of personnel. Develop and ensure compliance with all company and customer policies and procedures. Qualifications Live local to Kitimat, B.C. 5+ years of facility/operations management experience. 2 years of P&L management experience. 5+ years experience managing hazardous waste projects/operations. Valid class 5 drivers license with clean driving record. Commercial Drivers license is highly preferred. 40-years of sustainability in action.
