Job Description

Salon Academy Manager at Kao Corporation. Role Overview As the Salon Academy Manager, you will support the Sr. Academy Manager in planning and coordinating Academy activity, managing operations, inventory, and assisting communication and execution of all Academy programs. You are responsible for all operational activities and the execution of Academy programs, events, and attendee engagement, with additional support to field education with administrative duties. Responsibilities Help execute all operational planning, setup, teardown, dayof coordination/followup for Kao Salon Academy programs, custom events, and onsite company meetings. Ensure programs meet Kao Salon Academy Standards for the ultimate enhanced experience, meeting high service and personalized support standards. (55%) Help oversee Academy inventories and organization. Forecast, order, and maintain literature, equipment, supplies. Oversee daily activities including vendor supplies, catering, deliveries. Report AV equipment maintenance and repairs. (25%) Support field education: artist contracts, maintain artist database, approve travel, manage communication, weekly registration reports, monthly education updates, local training logistics. (10%) Support Sr EM Indirect and Chains: manage virtual education sessions in Zoom, create sell sheets, update education training assets for Chatters online university. (10%) Qualifications Minimum of 12 years' experience in professional salon industry. Hairdressing qualification is required. Project management/coordination skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.). Knowledge of show event AV equipment and building management. Additional Information Salary range: $65,000 - $75,000 plus bonus.
