As part of our dynamic team, you can lead the way, as we continue our journey towards high reliability care!We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Ultrasound Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team.Employment Status: Permanent Part TimeReporting Relationship: Manager, Medical ImagingHours of work: 8 hour rotating shifts on weekdays, evenings, nights and/or weekends - subject to change as per Article HRH 2 Management RightsEmployee Group: OPSEU 577Hiring Range: $36.84 - $51.77Location: Humber River Health - Wilson Site.Position ResponsibilitiesPerforming all general ultrasound duties, and other duties as assigned, including abdomen, O.B./gyn., small parts, vascular Doppler, MSK, breast.Prepare and assess patients for ultrasound exam including confirm exam validity based on history providedComplete exam process by image review, completing sonographers impression sheet, confirming documentation and presenting to radiologists for reporting via PACSQualificationsMust be registered or in the process of obtaining registration and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)Must have Personal Liability Insurance (PLI)Accredited college diploma preferredMinimum 2 years experience with all aspects of ultrasound preferredPrevious US experience within a hospital setting preferredStrong documentation skills requiredExcellent knowledge of anatomy requiredAbility to work independently as well as within a group environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Must have good teamwork and customer service skillsExcellent attendance and discipline free record required.Why choose Humber River Health?At Humber River Health, our staff, physicians, and volunteers are lighting new ways in healthcare.
