School of Health Science - Clinical Technologist (Part-Time) 100 College Dr, North Bay, ON P1B 0A4, Canada Job Description Posted Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 5:00 a.m. Job Title: Clinical Technologists - Practical Nursing Program Department: School of Health Sciences Status: Temporary Part-Time Contract Duration: January April 2026 Hours Per Week: Up to 21 hours Pay Rate: $34.75/hour Clinical Technologists provide support to Canadore students during the placement portion of their program on-site at the partner location. Qualifications: Current certificate of registration (RN or RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario or eligible for registration is required Minimum of two years of recent clinical experience in any of the following areas: Continuing complex care Long term care Mental health Acute care Medical/Surgical Current BCLS certification is required Responsibilities: Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Work effectively with faculty to provide an optimal learning experience for students Use applicable educational guidelines and the policies and procedures of the college and the clinical agency to supervise and monitor students as they provide ongoing client care Make accurate observations and assessments related to students abilities to use the nursing process and provide this as feedback to faculty Modify clinical assignments and organizational plans and be prepared to intervene in order to accommodate changing client conditions and to support students Applications will be accepted by the Organizational Development and Talent Management Department through our Career Portal 12:00 p.m., on the closing date.
