Support Manager to achieve divisional budget targets and maximize profitability. Challenge current standards to progress the division. Support quality, safety, environmental, and sustainability objectives. Ensure workplace safety, correct unsafe actions, and advise workforce of health & safety concerns. Assist in training workers to ensure safe work practices, including safe use of equipment and protective devices. Promote continuous improvement, cost reduction, and sustainability programs. Implement Magna standing standards and adherence to internal processes and regulations. Support staffing, facility and equipment requirements. Identify and implement corrective & preventive actions for nonconformance. Provide feedback to team members, conduct 5S activities, and maintain clean schedule. Collaborate with other departments towards overall plant goals. Any other reasonable requests from management. Job Specific Duties Oversee daily operations of material handling and ASRS personnel. Assist in managing operations to meet customer requirements. Support shift and production run changes to ensure ontime delivery of quality products. Participate in manpower planning and overtime scheduling. Lead improvement initiatives linked to Key Operating Indicators. Define standardized work and ensure team members are trained. Maintain MMSA and MMOG compliant systems. Monitor 5 Alarm inventory and proactive reporting. Ensure FIFO, stack height, stock location, and racking labeling compliance. Address forklift issues, damaged stock, phyto sanitation violations. Ensure proper training for safety practices and ergonomic practices. Assist Manager with customer interface for materials & delivery issues. Qualifications Education: Minimum Grade 12. Experience: 3 years in materials in highvolume JIT environment. Leadership and teamwork, effective communication, troubleshooting, confidentiality, and integrity. Experience in materials warehousing management; valid lift truck license; ERP system experience; automotive knowledge an asset.
