Executive SummaryCareer Trek Inc. is looking for energetic, dynamic, and creative individuals who thrive in a space of innovation, growth, change, and out-of-the-box thinking to work as Program Delivery Staff in Winnipeg. Reporting to the Wonder of Work and Youth Initiatives Coordinators and Managers, the primary role of the Program Delivery Staff is to facilitate an engaging youth career exploration programming experience for students in Grades 5 to 6 and 9 to 12 and provide supervision. Programs run on Saturdays and weekdays, both during the day and the evening.Who Are We Looking For?Career Trek is looking for a self-starter with a can-do attitude who is not afraid to jump in wherever necessary to get the job done, has a willingness to learn and connect with young people by releasing your own inner child to ensure a fun and engaging program experience. We are looking for individuals who are ready to take on the challenge of engaging with the community and families, implementing quality programming, and getting youth interested and excited about attending programs.Under the guidance and supervision of the Manager and Coordinator, the main areas of work include:Facilitating or co-facilitating program activities according to lesson plans.Inspiring and motivating participants by guiding discussions and addressing relevant questions.Responsible for program setup, including preparation and cleanup of supplies and assisting with inventory management.Accurate record keeping and reporting, along with documenting program activities, highlights, and relevant details through photos and impact measurement tools.Ensuring a clean and safe work environment.Staying informed about participants dietary and medical requirements.Providing guidance, support and mentorship to all participants.Career Trek is looking for individuals with a special mix of skills, experience and an understanding of the importance of creating a positive learning environment for young people.
