In this role you will partner with vendors, corporate teams (HR, IT, Leasing, etc.) and work collaboratively with the General Manager and onsite management team to deliver bestinclass services.Contract Duration1yearLocation200 King Street, Toronto, ONResponsibilitiesProfessionally interact with tenants, vendors, and guests, providing timely responses to inquiries and service requests.Support the General Manager and Property Manager as required.Implement preventive maintenance plans for large commercial assets, including unscheduled repairs of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, electrical, elevator devices, and lifesafety systems.Manage energy performance and ensure energy targets align with bestinclass operations and broader decarbonization goals.Champion integration of building systems into the Integrated Building Management Platform and lead operational enhancements.Plan and carry out capital projects as assigned.Ensure consistent achievement of all KPIs.Elevate and mentor the operations team.Efficiently multitask and address timesensitive priorities.Implement energy efficiency programs and operate buildings in accordance with corporate sustainability programmes.Control operating expenses and maintain budgets.Oversee energy and utility consumption, waste recycling, and hazardous material management.Conduct environmental assessments, reporting, and comply with occupational health and safety programme.Manage computerized control systems and enforce tenant improvement construction management.Review and track tenant service requests.Perform lifecycle costing exercises and insurance and riskmanagement inspections.Prepare annual operations and capital project budgets.Liaise with regulatory or civic authorities having jurisdiction.Provide technical or administrative advice to internal and external clients.Stay current on industry practices, legislative changes, and new technologies.Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.QualificationsTechnical QualificationsBuilding Environmental Systems Class1 and 23rd or 4th Class Power Engineer (or equivalent)Technical Certificate (C.E.T., C.Tech. or A. ScT.)Journeyman trades person (electrician, plumber, or refrigeration) is an asset but not requiredBOMI SMA / SMT or FMA / RPA (asset but not required)Minimum of 10years direct work experience holding a senior position in commercial highrise building operationsValid drivers licenceIntermediate level Microsoft Office skillsCommunication & Relationship Skills / Personal Character TraitsDemonstrates effective oral and written communication with all levels within the company; develops and sustains cooperative relationships with business units; mature, selfmotivated team player committed to personal growth and ethical integrity; maintains strong relationships with industry peers and trade associations.Time Management / Working EnvironmentAllocates time effectively, manages tight deadlines, works under pressure, and achieves quality results.
