Patient Services PartnerSummary of DutiesWorking with the professional team, the Patient Services Partner participates in the caring of patients by providing a variety of support services to the team and patients. The Partner reflects the Hospital philosophy and mission of service, promotes good public relations with patients, visitors, and staff, and assists with patient care and decontamination of care areas and equipment.Qualifications and SkillsMinimum Grade 11 or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario Ministry of EducationApplicants who have a PSW Certificate will be given priorityMust have knowledge and ability to assist with direct patient care as required including ambulation, dressing, and turning/repositioningSunnybrook PSP (formerly PSA) course preferredRecent PSP experience preferredAbility to read and write EnglishTwo (2) years of related health care experienceMust be accustomed to high patient acuityExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to work under pressure and to handle various tasks within a limited time frameFlexibility and willingness to take directionMust be prepared and able to use all personal protective equipmentLiaises with patients and visitors on a regular basis demonstrating excellent customer service #J-18808-Ljbffr
