With your exceptional customer service and sales skills, you will help our customers fully experience the benefits of our growing suite of products and services. Starting your career with TELUS includes an hourly wage of $27.70 plus sales commissions, annual bonuses, and regular increases. The hourly wage includes a base wage of $25.70 with an additional $2/hour for the recognized skill of Aerial Outside Plant Climbing (telephone pole climbing). Qualifications Passionate about sales with proven ability to exceed targets through technical expertise. Excel at consultative selling and can turn service calls into sales opportunities. Driven by solutionsbased selling and enjoys recommending products and services that will make customers lives easier. Natural technical aptitude and passion for technology, with proficient knowledge of consumer electronics. Thrives on objection handling and builds trust through technical competence. Works collaboratively in team environments while operating independently with minimal supervision. Strong problemsolving skills and maintains high performance under time constraints. Has normal colour vision required to work with colourcoded wiring. Can handle physically demanding workload including standing, lifting, climbing ladders, bending, crawling in confined spaces, and working in various indoor/outdoor environments. Flexible and able to work various shifts: days, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, to meet business needs and customer availability, with the possibility of outoftown assignments. Fluent in English with a clear, genuine and persuasive communication style; additional languages are beneficial. Professional written and oral communication skills. Enjoys continuous learning and can learn formally and informally in a dynamic environment. Can meet applicable testing requirements. Requirements Proven customer service AND sales experience. Clean and valid full Class5 Drivers License or other provincial equivalents; drivers abstract needed. Completed a minimum of Grade11 Math; transcripts and/or diplomas required. Great to have Any previous experience and/or education in telecommunications or security would be an asset.
