We are currently seeking a CAD Technologist to join our Precast Structures Division and work out of our Kitchener office (Hybrid Work Model). Responsibilities Model reinforcing, lifters, and bracing members for wall panels, columns, and beams using Tekla Structures software, based on engineer feedback and precast supplier standards Assist with preparing and issuing castunit piece tickets for production, including creating, submitting, and implementing comments in accordance with precast supplier standards Maintain accurate project files, drawings, documents, and records throughout the project lifecycle Assist with field review of projects during the construction stage Attend and participate in project team meetings, coordinating with team members to ensure efficient and timely delivery of project deliverables Additional duties, as assigned Requirements Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Architectural Construction 05 years of experience in a similar role (including coop experience) Working towards a C.E.T. or C.Tech. designation Proficient working knowledge of Tekla modeling Proficient working knowledge of Revit modeling and experience with CAD Understanding of applicable design standards and general engineering principles Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently on concurrent projects What we offer Youll contribute to impactful projects that shape communities across KitchenerWaterloo, London, the GTA, and beyond.
