About the Role As an Accounts Payable Clerk at Mint Health + Drugs, you will play a key role in supporting our finance team by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. This position also includes responsibilities related to Accounts Receivable, such as customer account reconciliation and follow-up. Key Responsibilities Process and enter Accounts Payable transactions accurately and efficiently. Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist with Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing and reconciling customer accounts. Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding payables and receivables. Collaborate with managers across departments to troubleshoot and resolve vendor-related issues, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution. Work closely with the accounting team to support monthly closing processes. Support various finance-related tasks and special projects as assigned. Perform other accounting-related duties as required by the finance team. Education & Qualifications Formal training or education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field this may include post-secondary education, certification programs, or relevant on-the-job training. Students currently enrolled in a post-secondary accounting or finance program will also be considered. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Practical experience with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable is an asset. Experience & Skills High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written. Proven ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and discretion. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., using formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Technology proficiency is an asset comfort working with accounting or ERP software. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting software is a strong asset.
