About This Team The Global Network Automation team is a worldclass delivery group that builds and maintains the underpinnings of lululemons technology environment. Role Summary This Staff Engineer will define the architecture and influence the solution and business strategy to build costeffective global network automation. This architecture is the core of a multiglobal network backbone that supports all our application teams. The role will lead the engineering of platform automation that enables highscale internal teams to securely use the highperformance and scalable lululemon Global network. Responsibilities Serve as a lead engineering resource on the global network automation team, dealing with challenging engineering problems and opportunities Influence decisions that impact critical longterm technology strategy for organizational success Serve as the subject matter expert for network automation and reliability engineering Design and build advanced automation solutions for network configuration and management Provide thought leadership in the global network automation domain to ensure that systems and services are designed and operating to achieve optimal levels of performance, reliability, security, and sustainability Technical delivery and ownership of network automation design and engineering solutions Responsible for providing solutions that support multiple teams across the organization Contribute to the development of new network automation engineering principles and concepts Lead various efforts by engaging and coordinating work with other Network Engineers and Architects, as well as providing updates to Leadership and other teams Demonstrate ability to collaborate with members around best practices for delivering highly performant and scalable solutions for the global network Ensure security practices and/or security system fundamentals are defined and shared across multiple teams, and mentor others on these practices Provide leadership and subjectmatter expertise to identify solutions for network security automation gaps and challenges Qualifications 8+ years of experience in software engineering or network engineering Deep understanding of routing, switching, network protocols, and largescale network architecture Expertlevel Python development skills; experience building modular, maintainable systems Experience leading platformlevel initiatives and setting engineering standards Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS) and serverless architectures Advanced knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, etc.) Proven experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and reliability engineering Ability to influence crossfunctional teams, mentor engineers, and drive strategic initiatives Strong ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences Must Haves Acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results Communicate with honesty and kindness and create the space for others to do the same Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships Integrate fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesnt take yourself too seriously Additional Notes Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role. Compensation and Benefits Package lululemons compensation offerings are grounded in a payforperformance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $148,000$194,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
