Benefits Competitive Salary (anticipated base pay $90K-$105K) Generous vacation entitlement and paid sick days Wellness program, including 5 paid days off for your wellbeing Health benefits: dental, extended health, AD&D, LTD and employee/dependent life insurance Employee & family assistance program RRSP matching program Opportunities for learning and growth through our Employee Development Program and inhouse corporate training Job Responsibilities Complete pretreatment assessments to ensure patient eligibility Insert peripheral intravenous lines or establish access via central line following provincial college best practices Provide medical support and education to patients regarding diseases, therapies, and disease management Support and monitor the administration of IV, SC and IM medications in the clinic environment Handle and reconstitute biologic or oncology medications within Health Canada and manufacturer guidelines Monitor patients before, during and after treatment Maintain training for specific therapies, keeping knowledge current per Health Canadas Product Monograph and company policies Maintain a safe, clean clinic environment and uphold quality, safety and infection control standards Maintain adequate medical and office supplies through regular inventory checks and timely ordering Document and maintain patient records to ensure treatment history is captured Submit necessary documentation to appropriate parties in a timely manner as outlined by Sentrex policies Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and corporate information per privacy and confidentiality standards Liaise with physicians offices, pharmacies, service providers and other stakeholders to coordinate care Participate in continuing education activities, clinic audits and training sessions Administer and adhere to patient care protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, followup and adverse event reporting Follow provincial College of Nurses guidelines while providing patient care Report adverse events in accordance with Health Canada, manufacturer and company guidelines Perform additional duties as assigned by Sentrex leadership Qualifications Minimum 2-4 years of infusion nursing experience Registered Nurse in good standing with provincial College of Registered Nurses Expert IV insertion skills Ability to confidently deliver patient education and medication teachingincluding selfinjection education Ability to administer medications via IV, IM and/or SC CPR and FirstAid certification required; ACLS, CVAA, CON(C), PALS certificates are an asset Passionate about supporting patient care and removing barriers to care Ability to work autonomously and proficiently, as part of a larger remote team Comfort executing medical directives and managing infusion related reactions Strong interpersonal, organizational and problemsolving skills Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Critical Care, Emergency, Oncology, Neurology, Rheumatology, Gastro, Hepatology and/or pediatric experience an asset Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry an asset What makes you a great fit for this team Commitment to providing a high level of service to internal and external clients Highly adaptable with a track record of success during times of growth and organizational change Proven track record of developing trust and influence at multiple levels Impactful and candid communication style Exceptional organizational skills and ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, management and stakeholders Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Sentrex Health Solutions is proud to be an equal opportunity employer demonstrated by our commitment to diversity, inclusion, belonging, equity and accessibility.
