Responsibilities Work in a team atmosphere performing an expanded scope of practice in communities, providing primary and emergency care to all residentsfrom newborn to eldersat a nursing station / Health Center in a clinic atmosphere. Utilize skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plans. Perform health promotion, assessments, and plan and implement care using Best Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines; provide primary and emergency care; travel nursing; create care plans; apply IPAC and communicable disease control, immunizations. Ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practice. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a nursing license through the governing body in good standing. Hold or be willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work. Meet the required work experience. Mandatory skillsets and additional training requirements and reimbursements will be discussed during interview.
