Lonestar Lumber is one of Western Canada''s leading pallet and wooden shipping material manufacturer''s, and we''re looking for new team members Shift: Friday to Sunday, 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM (3x 12-hours) INCENTIVE: Work 36 hours, but get paid for 38 hours Wages at $18/hour Job Details: Pallet Builder and Lumber Remanufacturing Details: Assemble pallets using either an automated nailing machine (Woodpecker) or by hand using nail guns Strap stacks of completed pallets Move finished lifts from production line to yard storage Process lumber using various saws to different widths and lengths Load trailers as needed with finished pallets Applicants must be able to: Operate forklift Read specs and follow verbal instruction Work individually or with others Keep manual record of daily actions of each shift Handle physical, repetitious work - standing, bending, reaching, lifting, etc. Other Information: Steel toed boots, safety gloves, and safety glasses are mandatory; ears plugs are recommended. Safety glasses can be purchased from our office. Ear plugs are free.
