Construction Project Manager | Calgary, AB Our client, a well -established General Contractor in Canada with a strong portfolio of commercial, infrastructure, wastewater, and bridge projects, is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team in Calgary. This role is ideal for a results -driven professional with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to manage complex civil construction projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with contract and environmental requirements. Prepare and review project budgets, schedules, progress reports, and change orders. Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining effective communication across all stakeholders. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork on -site. Support estimating, tendering, and value engineering initiatives when required. Requirements Minimum 7 years of experience in civil construction, including at least 3 years in a project management capacity. Proven track record delivering commercial OR civil projects. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and contract administration. Experience working with a self -performing or general contractor in the civil sector. Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar). Excellent communication, leadership, and problem -solving abilities. Strong financial management and cost -control skills. Preferred: Experience managing projects valued between $5M$100M.
