Noble is seeking hard working, motivated individuals to join our team as a heavy duty mechanic in the fast-paced mining industry. The successful individuals will be responsible for working as part of the Noble team to help develop and maintain the construction sites. Position Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic Location: Nutrien Sites Start date: Immediate Closing:Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired Key Responsibilities: Proficient and cautious operation of a variety of heavy equipment. Clean, Grease & fuel all equipment as scheduled and required. Pm Services Electrical troubleshooting Hydraulic Trouble shooting Perform a wide variety of repairs on equipment (Scoops, bobcats, Miner, ETC.) Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor Experience in safe operation of a skid steer loader, scoop, telehandler. Communication with maintenance and operations departments. Follow all Noble andSitesafety policies. Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talk with co-workers and supervision. Navigate to and from job sites. Maintain accurate record of orders, deliveries and inventory levels Identify and order necessary parts and supplies Coordinate with other departments to forecast demand and plan for future inventory needs Job Skills: Demonstration of practical judgement and a commitment to quality work. Preferably hold trade certificate as a Heavy Duty or Agricultural Mechanic Mechanic experience will be considered if no trade certificate can be provided Training and experience in safely operating various types of underground equipment. Experience with Ground Control Underground scaling and using a Stoper and jackleg. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Lead by example and take constructive criticism well. Ability to work as part of a team, and individually when required. Positive attitude and adaptable to changing circumstances. Safety Mentality. Competencies: Initiative Priority setting/ Time Management Motivating Others Accuracy/ Attention to detail Team Player Ability to work 12-hour shifts (Days and Nights) Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required 3+ years of relevant work experience in an underground mine environment Benefits: Competitive compensation package.
