Achieve budgeted goals related to sales, margin, expenses,andinventoryandexecutesalesstrategies that support the Local Co-op''s vision. Achieve established objectives in terms of brand, servicelevels,quality,andtimelinessofdeliveryand identify areas forimprovement. Recruit, train, develop, coach, and motivate the department team while fostering a positive work environment that enables theengagementofallteam members in the pursuit of desired results. Prepares, administers and achieves budgeted department goalsrelatedto pricing,sales,margin, expenses and inventory. Ensures the efficient operation ofthe department to achieve allfinancialtargets and deliver onbudgeted KPl''s. Analyze period-end statements, identifyifcorrective action is required, and provide recommendationsto the Store Manager. May plan,monitor, and manage internal projects from initiation to completion. AssisttheStoreManager incommunicating operational requirements, operational changes, and translate the vision into departmental initiatives. Provide recommendations and supports internal pricing,promotion andproduct policies in response to local market needs and competition. Promote and ensures adherence to brand and merchandising standards, marketingefforts,andimage standards. Ensures all applicable company policies and procedures arecommunicated andadhered to and ensure safety and regulatory requirements and procedures are implemented and maintained. Provide leadership to thedepartment, includinggoal setting,schedulingandassigningwork,performance management, training and development of team members. Applies operational knowledge in key performance areastooverseetheallocationofteamassignments to achieve department objectives. Ensures prompt, efficient, and friendly customerservice is provided at all times. Maintains high customerservicelevelsto ensurecustomersatisfaction and identifies areas forimprovement. Ensures all customer complaints, adjustments, and returns are handled in a quick and efficient manner. Take corrective action withteam members if the established standards are notbeing met. This role will require you wo work days, evenings and weekends (including Stat holidays) on a rotational basis.
