We would love to hear from you In This Role You Will Food Preparation and Service: Prepare menu items according to A&W recipes and standards. Perform fryer and grill duties, ensuring food is cooked to perfection. Assemble food items and prepare produce for toppings. Perform minor food prep tasks like portioning fries and cooking ingredients. Ensure that we have enough prep for the day. Kitchen Operations: Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning requirements. Follow all food safety standards, including proper food handling and storage practices. Filter fryers and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment. Maintain fast service during busy periods. Keep work areas clean and organized; restock supplies as needed. Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces. Monitor product freshness and rotate stock (first in, first out). Receive stock and ensure proper storage. Team Support: Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals. Assist in the training and orientation of new team members. Foster positive working relationships with managers and coworkers. Work with a team of cooks to prep work for other shifts when needed. Customer Service: Occasionally assist in serving guests and respond to special guest requests in a friendly manner. Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
