Role : Front End Lead Developer Location: Downtown Toronto , Canada Type: onsite Salary/Rate : $65-70/hr C2C Job Details We are seeking an experienced Front-End Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in developing scalable, high-performance front-end applications and leading cross-functional teams. The role includes designing user-friendly interfaces, mentoring developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. This is a client-facing role and will have heavy interaction with key client stakeholders on a day-to-day basis. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks like Angular and React. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers, QA, and DevOps, to ensure high-quality product delivery. Provide mentorship to developers, promoting a collaborative and inclusive environment. Ensure code quality, scalability, and fault tolerance through the application of design patterns and best practices. Make high-level technical decisions and contribute to system architecture focused on front-end solutions. Manage source control and deployment processes using GitHub. Qualifications Expertise in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and React. Experience and understanding with cloud platforms: AWS (Preferred) and Azure. Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Expertise in architectural design patterns, scalability, and fault-tolerant system design for front-end applications. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and mentoring developers. Solid understanding of version control (GitHub) and DevOps best practices. Preferred Skills Strong problem-solving abilities and passion for innovation. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. Experience in code scanning with SonarQube and JFrog Xray.
