Position Overview: We are currently seeking Summer Staff to fill Forestry Technicians roles for our summer work program. This position is ideal for individuals currently enrolled or completing a Natural Resource diploma or degree Program who are eager to complement their education with hands-on fieldwork experience. Key Responsibilities: Assist in various phases of timber development projects. Participate in timber assessments and data collection. Contribute to road and cut block design activities. Collaborate with the team on forest license management planning and reporting. Perform silviculture surveys, planting supervision, and auditing assessments. Qualifications: Enrollment in a Natural Resource Program or previous applicable experience. Self-motivated with a positive attitude. Valid driver''s license. Eligible to work in Canada. Physically able to fulfill the demands of field positions. First Aid or other safety certifications are advantageous. Note: Candidates may be subject to drug and alcohol testing in safety-sensitive positions.
