Description Location:Papua, Indonesia Rotation:5 weeks in, 4 weeks out; 6 days on, 1 day off. Shift Length: 12 hours Compensation: Comprehensive wage and benefits package Travel: Flights provided from point of hire Pre-employment requirement: Successful completion of pre-employment drug, alcohol and medical evaluations The Project Manager is a recognized authority of the organization who is responsible for the day-to-day execution of the operations on site. Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager will play a critical role in managing the daily operations, driving operational efficiency, operational efficiency improvement projects and promoting a culture of safety and compliance.The Project Manager will be accountable for the successful execution of all operations while satisfying contractual obligations to our Clients through a focus on safety, quality, production and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Lead and direct all mining and construction operations Lead and mentor the team of national management and employees Work closely with clients to understand their operational goals, provide regular updates on operational status, and address any concerns promptly, ensuring alignment and satisfaction throughout the operational lifecycle Maintain clear, consistent communication with internal teams, senior management, and stakeholders Quality Management: Comply with all project quality expectations and ensure QA/QC process Compile and issue reports to senior management and client Performance Management: Manage operations and productivity KPIs to ensure we meet/exceed project deliverables Regularly review and assess team performance, providing guidance and addressing any issues related to productivity, safety and personal conduct Continuous Improvement: Assist and participate in the continuous improvement programs to ensure the required production efficiency and optimization is achieved. Assist with data analysis to identify inefficiencies and constraints that require continuous improvement initiatives. Contractual Compliance Thorough understanding of all contracts and obligations Ensure contractual manpower plans are aligned with operational activities. Health and Safety: Accountable for health and safety of all employees in applicable operational areas. Ensure compliance and adherence to safe working practices and procedures, including following Company health and safety Direct inception and set-up of site-specific safety programs with support from the Health & Safety department. Qualifications Education Bachelor of Science in Mine Engineering Work Experience: Minimum 10 years'' experience in a mining environment Minimum 5 years'' experience in mine management
