Overview The CCTV Monitor Guard/ Operator plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our premises. This position involves monitoring surveillance systems, identifying potential security threats, and ensuring the overall protection of assets and personnel. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to conflict management. Duties Monitor CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activities or breaches of security. Conduct regular inspections of surveillance footage to ensure compliance with safety protocols. Collaborate with law enforcement and security personnel to report incidents and provide evidence as needed. Maintain accurate records of surveillance activities, incidents, and reports for future reference. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying patterns of theft or misconduct through surveillance analysis. Communicate effectively with team members and dispatching personnel during emergencies or security events. Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potential threats or disturbances on-site. Skills Experience in law enforcement or security is highly desirable. Proficiency in dispatching techniques and emergency response protocols. Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance technology. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and collaboration. Ability to write detailed reports documenting incidents and observations accurately. Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to safeguard assets effectively. Conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
