Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospital settings, acute care, and patient-centered services. This role involves providing comprehensive medical support, assisting with patient care, and collaborating with physicians to deliver high-quality healthcare. Candidates with expertise in pain management, pediatrics, and home care are highly valued. The Physician Assistant will utilize medical terminology and electronic health record systems such as OscarPro and Heidi to ensure accurate documentation and efficient workflow. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations Assist physicians with diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedures Administer medications and vaccinations following established protocols Collect and analyze clinical data to support diagnosis and treatment decisions Manage patient care across various settings, including hospital, outpatient, and home care environments Document all patient interactions accurately using electronic health records Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans Participate in research activities aimed at improving patient outcomes and clinical practices Support pain management initiatives by monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatments accordingly Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care Requirements Valid Physician Assistant license or certification in the relevant state or prior education in the medical field Prior hospital experience preferred, especially in acute care or emergency settings Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient care protocols Experience with electronic health record systems such as Oscar is highly desirable Background in research or data collection is a plus Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience working in family clinic and providing care services is advantageous Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to healthcare regulations This role is integral to delivering exceptional healthcare services across diverse clinical settings.
