Job Description

Upper James Toyota is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor Upper James Toyota is part of the Parkway Motors Auto Group, a small dealer group that has been servicing the Hamilton area for over 40 years. We are a family owned and operated dealership that believes in creating a fun, safe environment that inevitably breed success. We are currently looking for a full-time Service Advisor. Previous experience is a bonus, but we will train the right candidate, who is looking to build a retail automotive career. Prospective candidates must have outstanding customer service skills along with the ability to offer and up-sell value added service options to potential customers in an honest and ethical manner. We pride ourselves on great customer service, treating each customer with care. As our Service Advisor you will be working with customers to schedule service work and communicate any additional services needed. You will also handle the administrative and customer relations aspects of service department operations. Your main responsibility is to ensure every vehicle is running optimally or that our valued client has been offered the necessary work in order to achieve this goal. We Offer: Salary range between $45,000 -$70,000 earning potential Benefits package which includes Health, Dental, Life and Long-term Disability Reward high performance Great company culture Promotion from within A supportive management team Job Duties: Greeting customers promptly, scheduling service appointments and receiving vehicle information. Listening to requests of the service desired and clearly explaining information on the repair order. Referring the technician to the customer and/or test-driving the vehicle to confirm source(s) of service repairs. Estimating the cost and time needed to do the repair, taking in to account the customer''s schedule. Handling customer complaints and maintaining high customer satisfaction standards Periodically checking on the progress of the vehicle during servicing and contacting the customer when technicians discover additional problems; getting customer approval to do additional work, explaining the work performed and the charges being billed. Qualifications: Minimum three years Service Advisor experience Ability to work in a team environment Ability to multitask when dealing with more than one customer Previous Toyota experience as a Service Advisor is a definite plus Upper James Toyota is an equal opportunity employer and strives to ensure that its hiring process meets all AODA requirements.
