ITAD Technician Location: Markham, ON Company: Microland Technical Services Inc. Microland is seeking a detail-oriented ITAD Technician to support secure processing and disposition of enterprise electronics. This role requires accuracy, strong documentation habits, and respect for data security. Hardware You''ll Work With POS equipment IT hardware (laptops, desktops, servers) Printers and MFPs Networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) Mobile (phones, tablets, mobile computers) Responsibilities Receive and log assets (serials, condition, quantities) Perform data sanitization (NIST 800-88based workflows) Verify wipe results and maintain audit-ready records Test equipment to determine reuse, refurb, or recycle path Support secure destruction and chain-of-custody processes Requirements Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Comfortable with computers and asset-tracking systems Reliable, organized, and process-driven Comfortable handling electronics in a warehouse setting Nice to Have ITAD or electronics refurbishment experience Familiarity with data wiping tools (Blancco, KillDisk, etc.) Apply with your resume and a brief summary of relevant experience.
