Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team. This role provides vital support in managing financial records, maintaining accurate bookkeeping, and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, proficiency with accounting software, and excellent communication abilities to ensure smooth daily operations within our office environment. Duties Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records using QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and billing processes Support bank reconciliations and prepare financial reports as needed Handle front desk responsibilities Schedule appointments and manage calendars using Microsoft Outlook Calendar and Google Workspace Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before submission or filing Organize files, maintain filing systems, and ensure documentation is up-to-date Utilize DocuSign for electronic signatures on important documents Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries professionally via phone or email Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry to support administrative functions Experience Prior office experience with a focus on bookkeeping or administrative support is preferred Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Google Workspace tools is essential Experience with clerical tasks such as data entry, proofreading, filing, and managing multi-line phone systems is highly desirable Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are required to interact professionally with clients and team members Previous experience working in hospitaltiy / front desk or in an office environment will be considered an asset This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while developing valuable administrative and bookkeeping skills in a professional setting.
