Job Summary The Warehouse Associate is tasked with overseeing the movement of goods into and out of the Pre Pak Warehouse. This encompasses responsibilities such as receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming products. They will be accountable for ensuring the warehouse is presentable and that inventory is organized. The main duty will involve picking orders and ensuring this is carried out with precision and efficiency. It is essential for associates to cultivate product knowledge and an understanding of customer demands to thrive in this role. Attention to detail and a strong physical stamina is critical for the success in this role. Duties Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks and power jacks Pick orders and package them accordingly Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock counts Record production dates on inventory items Ensure proper handling of heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols Use warehouse management software for inventory control and distribution Assist with maintenance and upkeep tasks related to warehouse operations Assist with swamping when required Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related fields Knowledge of beef and retail cuts is beneficial Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including forklift, reach truck, and power jacks Familiarity with warehouse management systems Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and packaging processes Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and documentation standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks involving lifting or moving heavy objects Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 44 per week Benefits: Dental care Discounted or free food Extended health care Life insurance Paid time off Store discount Vision care Application question(s): Do you have have any experience working with Beef and Retail Cuts?
