About Us Cross Wind Farm is a small artisan goat dairy located in Keene, Ontario. We produce a variety of award winning goat cheeses and take pride in maintaining high standards throughout our production process. Position Overview We are looking for a team member who is comfortable with hands on work and interested in contributing to a small scale food manufacturing environment. This role suits someone with food preparation experience who wants to grow their skills in a production setting. The work involves regular physical tasks rather than reliance on automated equipment. Key Responsibilities Operate small scale tools and equipment used in food production Package finished products following company guidelines Check products for accuracy and quality before they move to the next stage Keep the work area organized and follow all safety practices Support inventory tasks such as counting, rotating stock, and restocking supplies Work cooperatively with other staff to help meet daily and weekly production targets Preferred Experience and Skills Experience in food manufacturing or a food handling role is an asset Comfort with basic math for measuring, weighing, and portioning ingredients Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment Dependability, good communication skills, and the ability to work well with others Physical Requirements This position involves regular standing, bending, and lifting.
