Scripted Television series looking for a NON-UNION Story Editor/Story Producer We are a Toronto production company who produces award-winning television. We are seeking to expand our successful team for the new 12-episode season of our established scripted comedy TV series. The series is unique in that it combines pre-shot footage with scripted content. While writing is a part of a show, the editing room is where the show is made. It requires creative story editors/story producers who understand how to shape footage and work with an editor to make the story sing. Must Be: Non-Union An Ontario resident for the past two years A Canadian citizen Duties/Responsibilities Arc a story and pace a 30 min comedy Make written edit decision lists and write paper edits Review and break down footage Dissect and package both reality/documentary style and scripted footage Work with an editor from raw cut to broadcast-ready Assets: Comedy/improv background or comedy writing experience Strong interest for the entertainment industry If this sounds like you, please submit an application.
