Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care across multiple critical environments, including Intensive Care Units (ICU), Operating Rooms (OR), Emergency Rooms (ER), and Medical/Surgical wards. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in ICU, OR, ER, and Med/Surg units, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans. Monitor vital signs, administer medications and injections with precision, and manage complex medical equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, catheterization, IV insertion, tube feeding, and sterile dressing changes while maintaining aseptic technique. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans, including trauma medicine, infectious disease care, and acute pain management. Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct patient education on medication administration, post-operative care, and health coaching tailored to individual needs. Assist with triage in emergency settings and participate in discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions of care across settings like hospice & palliative medicine or long-term care facilities. Requirements Valid RN licensure with current state certification; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required. Proven experience in critical care environments including ICU or Level I/II trauma centers; hospital medicine experience is highly valued. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; familiarity with ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for documentation purposes. Strong clinical skills encompassing airway management, laboratory specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, and infection control practices. Knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, diagnostic evaluation techniques including sonography or laboratory testing. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health patients, or individuals with disabilities such as developmental or dementia care needs. Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced settings like emergency medicine or urgent care while demonstrating excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
