Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service and timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving, warehouse operations, and possess a strong work ethic. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various equipment such as box trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks. Duties Safely operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling as required. Ensure accurate loading of items according to route plans and delivery schedules. Deliver products to customers while providing exceptional customer service. Navigate routes efficiently using route driving best practices to meet delivery deadlines. Assist in warehouse operations including moving inventory and organizing stock. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain signatures upon delivery completion. Adhere to all safety protocols, including heavy lifting techniques and proper use of equipment. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience. Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record. Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving items safely. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude. Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with load & unload procedures. Knowledge of safety standards related to commercial driving and warehouse operations. Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills. Physical stamina for extended periods of driving and manual handling tasks.
