Job Summary We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, managing front desk operations with efficiency and professionalism. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with various office software. The Receptionist will handle a variety of administrative tasks to support smooth office functioning and provide exceptional customer service. There will be specialized tasked that apply to our line of work. Duties Greet visitors and clients promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive first impression Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings using calendar management tools Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant software Handle filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring documents are organized and accessible Provide customer support by answering inquiries via phone, email, or in person Assist with administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and supporting office operations Utilize QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks when necessary submitting pay roll hours Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment ordering material and parts that the company my need to complete a job take in moneys from paying customers and invoicing sending quotes off to customers Experience Prior clerical or administrative experience is preferred, especially in office enviroments Familiarity with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and customer service best practices Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and basic computer skills Experience with data entry, filing systems, and proofreading documents is desirable Knowledge of QuickBooks or bookkeeping is a plus but not required Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for success in this role previous experience in manufacturing is a big plus but not necessary marine/boat knowledge is also a plus but not necessary good memory is a must Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$25.83 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Flexible schedule Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off RRSP match Work Location: In person
