Available Locations: Richmond, Vancouver, New Westminster, Langley, Surrey, Squamish, North Vancouver, Victoria, Duncan, Delta, Abbotsford Family Medicine Physician We are seeking Family Medicine Physicians who demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centred care, clinical excellence, and adaptability within a community-based practice environment. Compensation Structure 70/30 fee split, with 70% allocated to the physician and 30% contributed toward clinic overhead. Ongoing opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and career advancement Job Description Clinic hours are generally 9am to 5pm, the physician has full flexibility in determining their individual schedule. Evening and weekend availability can be accommodated with appropriate clinic staffing support. The practice provides care across the full lifespan, from newborns to seniors. Physicians have autonomy to develop and manage their own patient panel in alignment with their clinical interests. The scope of practice reflects typical community-based family medicine, with opportunities to cultivate special interests within the practice. The average daily patient volume ranges from 25 to 30 patients. Patient encounters may be conducted in person, virtually, or by telephone, according to physician preference. Appointment length and scheduling are determined by the physician based on clinical judgment, patient needs, and individual practice style. Our Recruitment Process Initial Application Review: All applications are assessed through a comprehensive screening process. Talent Partner Review: Shortlisted applications are reviewed by a Talent Partner. Introductory Meeting: Selected candidates will be invited to an initial discussion with the Talent Partner to explore the role and overall fit. Formal Interview: Candidates who progress will meet with the hiring manager to discuss the position in greater detail and assess mutual alignment. Offer Stage: Where there is mutual agreement to proceed, an offer letter and employment contract will be issued. Licensing and Immigration Process In parallel with the recruitment process, physicians will begin the British Columbia licensing pathway, which includes registration with and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC). Upon completion of source verification and receipt of an eligibility letter from CPSBC, we will initiate the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) to support immigration. This pathway enables physicians and their eligible family members to obtain permanent residency in Canada. We will provide support and cover the following: Immigration-related expenses, including those associated with either the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) process or BC PNP nomination. Guidance and coordination to help ensure a smooth and well-organized relocation process. Practical support through shared information on housing options, neighbourhoods, schools, community groups, and local resources. Relocation recommendations informed by the experiences of physicians who have previously completed the transition. Candidate-Responsible Costs Relocating physicians will be responsible for: Professional licensing costs, including fees associated with and CPSBC. Personal relocation expenses, such as flights, temporary accommodation, and other related costs.
